Like all mechanical devices, torque wrenches and pumps are subject to wear and tear. The friction between the moving parts leads to distortion and erosion of the material from which the device was made. This change affects the factory-certified torque output and gauge readings.
To ensure proper torque output, both the wrench and the pump need to be recalibrated annually by a Bolttech technician. Using state-of-the-art torque transducers that are integrally mounted to our calibration table, digital display, and in-line laptop computer, our technicians produce a professional certified test report. This service can be performed on-site in our mobile calibration unit, providing you with the comfort and convenience that you have come to expect from your one-stop bolting service provider.
